What's included in the transfer price?+
Everything between your hotel in Fortaleza and the sandy streets of Jericoacoara: the air-conditioned shuttle to Jijoca, the 4×4 jardineira ride across the dunes into the village, and support in English before, during and after the transfer.
Is the Jericoacoara environmental tax included?+
No. The Jericoacoara National Park environmental tax — 41.50 R$ (about US$7.94) per person — is set by the park and is not included in the transfer price. It's paid separately, online or locally.
How long does the journey take from Fortaleza to Jericoacoara?+
Around 5h40 door to door: about 5 hours by shuttle from Fortaleza to Jijoca de Jericoacoara, then a 40-minute 4×4 crossing over the dunes to the village — the only way in, since cars can't reach Jeri.
Where does the pickup happen and at what time?+
We pick up directly from your hotel, pousada or apartment in Fortaleza — Meireles, Beira Mar, Mucuripe, Praia de Iracema, Centro, Aldeota or Praia do Futuro — as well as Fortaleza airport (FOR). Boarding for Jericoacoara runs between 7:00 and 8:00 AM; the return from Jeri departs between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. You'll receive your exact pickup window and driver details by email before departure.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure — you'll get a full refund within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup are non-refundable, though we'll do our best to help you reschedule. If your flight is delayed, we monitor it automatically and rebook you on the next available slot at no extra charge. If we ever need to cancel your transfer, you get a full refund and priority rebooking.
Is the dune crossing safe?+
Yes. The final stretch into Jericoacoara is crossed in an open 4×4 jardineira driven by experienced local drivers who make the trip every day. It's the standard — and most scenic — way into the village.
Do you really operate in English?+
Yes. Our entire booking flow, vouchers and emails are in fluent English — we also speak French and Portuguese. For anything tricky, our team is here before, during and after your transfer.
How much luggage can I bring?+
One suitcase per person + one backpack per person, included. For extra or oversized luggage, mention it in the booking notes and we'll allocate space on the shuttle and the 4×4.
What if my flight is delayed?+
Send us your flight number when booking and we keep an eye on it. If you're delayed, we'll do our best to move you to the next available departure — just contact us as soon as you can.
Do you offer round-trip transfers?+
Yes. The round trip is our most popular option — one booking, both directions, with a flexible return date. See the

What about kids or reduced mobility?+
Children are welcome. Kids up to 3 years old travel free on a parent's lap; from 4 years old the full price applies. Note the dune crossing is on a bumpy sandy track — for reduced mobility, contact us first and we'll advise on the most comfortable option.
How do I confirm and pay?+
You pay the full amount at booking by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay — same level of security as your bank app. You'll get an instant confirmation by email, then your transfer details before departure. No cash, no Pix, no surprises.
